Throughout the world, in places where humans live, you can find pigeons. These birds have adapted and are accustomed to living near pigeons. Unlike scaring or deterring the pigeons, using a bird net will be 100% effective if you install it correctly. For an area like a balcony, you can get bird netting that is big enough to cover the entire opening. Once it is fastened on the top and bottom, pigeons and other birds definitely won't get through. The downside to using bird nets is that you can see them.
